Development Pt 5 - PRIMARY OBSERVATIONAL RESEARCH
The sky is a very important element in both stories I feel - in the Night Gaunts poem it will be used to signify night time and sleep, whereas in Cats of Ulthar it is used and fairly important in the casting of the curse by Menes and would benefit from repeatedly being referred to in illustrations.
For this, I left the house to take photographs of the sky during times in which it seemed at its most interesting - cloudy days and particularly sunsets created the best lighting and clouded sky photographs.
