Animals Sketchbooks Part 1

Sketchbook 1

This first sketchbook was getting to grips with drawing animals - they moved constantly, but unlike humans, were a lot more unpredictable in their movements. A lot of my sketches in this book are very loose and quickly done, not only to capture the movement but to draw them before they moved on to the next best thing.

Sketchbook 2

This sketchbook was comprised mainly of drawings from photos taken by myself - they seem a little more sturdy and anatomically accurate. I also used this opportunity to try and create simpler drawings, that I felt actually worked much better than the ones I took longer on.
