In this picture I'd nearly completed the outline of my character whilst the upper half of her body is completely coloured - Dan is well on his way with outlining and Jak is currently about to continue his drawing on the wall. Michaela is still in the design process of her character.
The outline on my character is finished - a closeup of the colouring method used on her is provided here; clothing is mainly block coloured black whilst the wraps, skin and hair take on a more metallic sheen.
My character in her main pose is completed here - at this point I disappear from the wall for a little while to come up with smaller pieces for the surrounding areas. Dan is now focussing more on outlining his character.
This picture features both Jak and Dan in the process of working on their characters - Jak has the pencil lines for his character down and is colouring him - he has less of a thick outline compared to mine and Dan's. Michaela's design process is done and her character is being sketched onto the wall.
Michaela's piece is fully outlined and colour is being applied - it was at this point my collaborational skills were really put to the test. Our original idea had our characters all interacting in the surrounding areas, so I asked Dan to draw his character in a pose that I could draw my character around it - I feel it was fairly successful, and though I am typically bad at capturing action and movement, I feel I did well in doing so.
